Integrating technology into education this is the title of our course, since future students will be technology natives so as teachers it's a must to be knowledgeable about technological issues that might help students in understanding the topic we are discussing in an easy way. Technology is playing a major role in making students as well as teachers more knowledgeable in many domains. During this course we are taught how to make a useful and meaningful poster. Since the importance of information doesn't appear unless it is presented in a good way that grasps audience attention, doing a good post is very efficient and helpful to send our purpose clearly. Posters are piece of paper that is used for many purposes. Good posts have rules that we should abide by, these rules include:

- choose clear layout

- arrange ideas in a suitable way

- Connect and unite the ideas in the poster

- Follow the graphic hierarchies

- Use phrases and indent them

- Add visual aids

- Reference the ideas mentioned in the poster

 

Thus posters may help students get more interested in certain topic, and even is beneficial for teachers to represent their study or certain data.

The second thing we intend to learn is how to make a web quest so that we can use it in the learning procedure. Web quest is very useful for both teachers and students in terms of learning.  By using Web quest in teaching process, students become involved in knowledge construction. When we tend to use web quest we will be able to allow students use internet safely and to have a broader idea about the topic or the concept discussed in class. By using web quests students get more motivated since they feel that they are contributing to the real world of learning. Students will see richer thematic relationships.

 

Finally we intend to learn the VCT, "Virtual Learning Tour" it is used to design a learning tour based on different levels of thinking (Bloom's taxonomy) and multiple intelligences.  
This course improved our skills in using technology in a beneficial way and allowed us to master using certain applications that is needed to enhance our teaching methods and strategies. I believe that this course is a major requirement for every teacher since we are exploring new technological issues every year and having a repertoire of knowledge regarding technology applications is needed to be able to adapt to the new tools that are discovered each year.
